Duathlon Logos

I've been providing duathlon logos for the Lake Crystal Area Recreation Center for ten years, and while it has morphed and went through a lot of color ways, it has stayed relatively the same. I originally started out with a retro vibe with blue and orange complimentary colors with serif fonts. Over time it was shifted to a sans serif font with analogous colors that complement the rec center's blue and purple branding. Some years they chose different color ways, and I try to incorporate the colors they chose into the poster as well.

When creating the poster, I tried to incorporate the same type of asthetic as the logo, and then make small tweaks here and there. As with the logo, they wanted to let people know what a duathlon was just by looking at the imagery, however with the poster more detail can be included. I also made sure to include analogous colors with maybe a bright pop and a couple of shades that blended in the background.
